Another One Bites the Dust

For some reason when I hear the term Medicare Advantage, that Queen song “Another One Bites the Dust”  keeps playing on a loop in my head, and yesterday I figured out why.  Yesterday CIGNA announced that it will NOT offer its Medicare Access (PFFS) in 2011.

And so it begins, the insurance companies who would like to offer Medicare Advantage plans in 2011, were required to submit their bids to offer plans to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) this week.
